Access to water

More than 1.5 billion people globally do not have access to safe drinking water, about 19% of the world’s population. In Kenya alone 40% of the population lack access to clean drinking water. One in every three schools lack access to clean water, people in remote villages travel long distances to access water which at times does not meet sanitary standards. Through our access to water program we ensure safe drinking water to the society through electric and manual boreholes, water purifiers and distribution of fresh water to remote areas where water is scarce via fresh water tankers. It allows us to ensure good hygiene that prevents the emergence of water borne diseases like Cholera, promotes nutrition and nurtures livelihoods through livestock breeding and agricultural practices.
