Who We Are
In 2017, a simple act of kindness by one family helping another sparked a movement. What began as a local initiative in Mombasa has grown into the Artistic Hope Organization (AHO).
Today, we serve orphans, underprivileged families, and remote communities by providing education, nutrition, safe water, and emergency relief. We believe that sustainable change starts with a single act of hope.

What We Do

Orphan Care
Currently working with 10 orphanages spread across Kenya (Mombasa, Kwale & Nairobi) impacting approximately 613 orphans

Education
Our education program supports education by paying school fees through annual sponsorships, providing school supplies…

Sadaqa Jariyah
Sadaqah Jariyah is a long-term kindness that accrues ongoing reward from God

Medical Aid
Ensuring the health of the community is a primary factor. In Kenya, where poverty is rampant, accessing medical resources becomes a burden

Water Access
More than 1.5 billion people globally do not have access to safe drinking water, about 19% of the world’s population

Relief
Immediate assistance for those who are unable to support themselves due to natural catastrophes, wars, economic instability, prolonged unemployment, or other circumstances
Which SDGs Do We Directly Align With
1. No Poverty
AHO is helping to reduce poverty by providing essential services such as food, water, medical care, and education. Our initiatives aim to alleviate financial burdens and promote economic stability for marginalized individuals, including orphans and families in distress.
2. Zero Hunger
AHO organizes food aid programs and ensures nutritional support to communities facing food insecurity, especially during times of crisis such as droughts or floods. The organization’s relief efforts help to prevent malnutrition among the most vulnerable populations.
3. Good Health and Well-Being
AHO organizes medical camps and health outreach programs to provide healthcare services to underserved communities. This includes free health check-ups, treatment, and distribution of medicines, particularly targeting vulnerable groups such as orphans and elderly people.
4. Quality Education
AHO focuses on education for orphaned and vulnerable children, school supplies, and paying school fees. By offering these opportunities, AHO empowers disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of poverty through education.
6. Clean Water and Sanitation
AHO drills boreholes and installs water systems in rural and urban communities where access to clean water is limited. These initiatives improve sanitation and ensure that families have reliable access to safe drinking water, which is critical for health and hygiene.
10. Reduced Inequalities
AHO’s work focuses on reducing inequalities by ensuring that marginalized and disadvantaged communities—especially orphans, women, and rural populations—have access to the same opportunities as more privileged groups. This is done through education, healthcare, and community support programs that bridge gaps in access to basic services.
13. Climate Action
While not a primary focus, AHO’s work in areas like water access, food security, and emergency relief helps communities adapt to the impacts of climate change, particularly in regions experiencing droughts or flooding. Their projects support resilience-building efforts in vulnerable communities.
17. Partnerships for the Goals
AHO actively partners with other local and international organizations, government bodies, and donors to achieve its goals. These collaborations amplify its impact and ensure sustainable solutions through shared resources, knowledge, and expertise.
